Wi-Fi networks at CPM worksites

Read below for a list of available wi-fi connections at each CPM worksite.

All Offices (excluding the BOB)

The following SSIDs are available at the Training Center, Annex, 1218, and Noble:

  • Guest
    • Open to all and does not require a password
  • TC-devices
  • TCIT
    • Restricted; used by TC Support techs only

Important:
Even if a device is TC-owned, if it is not a managed device (e.g., iPhones, iPads, tablets, specialty devices) it should not connect to TC-Devices. These should use Guest.

If you currently have a TC-deployed cell phone on TC-Devices, no action is required for now. However, going forward, we will no longer place phones or tablets on this network.

When using the Guest network:

New Guest Network Behavior
The Guest network will now include a captive portal requiring acceptance of the Guest Wi-Fi Terms of Service.
Key points:

  • You must agree to the terms before getting internet access.
  • You will need to re-agree every 30 days.
  • The terms include abiding by the OU Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Activity may be monitored as permitted by policy.

Boomer Outreach Building (The BOB)

  • WIFI@OU
    • Open to all OU employees but requires credentials; username is your 4×4 and password is the same as your OU single sign-on password
