How to clear cache and cookies in Firefox

If you use the Firefox app to browse the internet, follow the instructions below to learn how to clear your cache and cookies.
- Open your Firefox browser and select the menu button (three horizontal lines, sometimes called a hamburger button) in the upper-right corner, then select Settings from the dropdown list.

- Once the Settings page opens, select Privacy & Security.

- Under Cookies and Site Data, select Clear Data.
- Optional: Select the Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed checkbox to turn on the setting that will automatically clear your cache and cookies each time you close all open Firefox windows.

- In the Clear Data dialog box that opens, select the checkboxes for both Cookies and Site Data (to remove login status and site preferences) and Cached Web Content (to remove stored images, scripts, and other cached content). Then, select Clear.

Please note that removing all website data may log you out of websites and/or change websites’ behavior the next time you visit them.
If you’d prefer to clear cookies only and keep the other site data stored in your browser, visit the “Clear cookies and site data in Firefox” article on Mozilla’s support site and navigate to the section titled “Clear all cookies and keep other data.”
