Rise 360 Handbook
This page serves as a repository of the available resources for the Rise 360 authoring tool. Rise is an Articulate product meant for easy, intuitive course authoring in a format that is simplified from Storyline360. Rise has extensive resources available for its users, a list of which is compiled below.
User Guide: This User Guide contains step-by-step instructions for all the basics of using Rise. It covers all of the typical building blocks of a course that you might use throughout the course design process, from managing content to putting a course together to publishing.
Support Articles: For any issues or questions you might run into that aren’t covered in the User Guide, Articulate has compiled this collection of Support Articles for Rise that have come up for people in the past, or may be more granular than is needed in the user guide above.
Video tutorials: This collection of video tutorials will walk you through the process of just about every element of using Rise. In addition, there are also recorded webinars of past workshops that Articulate has facilitated under the “On-Demand Training” tab, and you can even sign up for upcoming webinars under the “Upcoming Webinars” tab if you’d like to attend a session live.
Discussion boards: If you have a question or problem that isn’t covered in any of the above resources, you can go to the Articulate community discussion boards and either look through old posts that are tagged as “Rise 360” to see if your question has come up before, or you can write your own post and get an answer from Articulate experts. Articulate support staff are fairly active on these boards, so you should be able to get an answer from them fairly quickly if you post here.
Best Practices for Images, Videos, and Audio: Some users have reported issues with using images and other media in Rise, so this article goes over some of the best practices for including media in your courses.
We hope you find these resources to be valuable as you are putting your courses together using Rise 360. As always, if there is something you think should be added to this page, reach out and let us know what else you’d like to see here!
