Course Format

For our courses, there is only one relevant format for our uses, and that is “Topic” format. It’s important to know ahead of time that inside of the course, a topic can also be referred to as a “section”. The top of the course is “section: 0” and it contains the news forum by default.

The important options are surrounding how to present each topic. If all the topics are presented on one long page, we have the option to either make hidden sections completely invisible or just collapsed under the title.

Our other option allows us to take each topic and make it a separate page. This means that to move through the course, they will need to navigate to a separate page manually instead of the next topic revealing itself.
