How to use TCIT Gateway

What is TCIT Gateway?

TCIT Gateway is a remote desktop shell that enables CPM employees to do the following:

  • Use applications that are not installed on your physical (local) computer, such as Adobe Acrobat DC.
  • Open a new web browser window (such as Google Chrome) to use secured websites that are accessible only to CPM employees, such as the TCIT Faces webpage.
  • Access files on the CPM Public Drive (P: drive).*
  • Connect to printers at your CPM worksite.

Please note that VDI environments, including TCIT Gateway, should not be used for Teams meetings, Zoom meetings, or audio calls. Because VDI connects you to a remote computer that is separate from your own machine, any meetings or calls you join through VDI will have poor audio/video quality, or you may not have audio/video access at all.

*Whether you’re using TCIT Gateway or your local computer, you always have the ability to save your files to OneDrive (either OU OneDrive or DHS OneDrive). Using OneDrive is the recommended method for saving and storing your work documents.

How do I log in to TCIT Gateway?

To access TCIT Gateway, you must have SATTRN credentials. If you do not remember your SATTRN credentials, or if you are a new employee and have not yet received your SATTRN credentials, contact TC Support.

  1. Go to tcitgateway.ou.edu. Enter your SATTRN username and password, then select Sign in.
