How to clear your Cache and Cookies with Google Chrome

STEP 1
Go to your Chrome browser and click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.

STEP 2
From the drop-down list, select Settings.

"Settings" is selected in the drop-down menu.

STEP 3
It will open a new window. Select Privacy and Security.

Privacy and Security is selected under Settings.

STEP 4
Next select Clear Browsing Data.

Clear Browsing Data is selected under Privacy and Security.

STEP 5
Make sure to change the Time Range to “All Time”.

All Time is selected in the Time Range for Clear Browsing Data.

STEP 6
Click Clear Data. Then close out all open Chrome browsers.

After this you can immediately reopen them and begin working.

STEP 7
Next, click on Cookies and other site data.

Under Privacy and Security, Cookies and other site data is highlighted.

STEP 8
Scroll down and click the button next to “Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows” to turn this option on.

Now when you close out all Google windows it will automatically clear your cache and cookies.

The option to Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows is toggled on.
